Founded in 2020, the Cal Poly Out Professional Engagement Network (OPEN) strives to empower the more than 2,000 LGBTQ+ individuals at Cal Poly navigate the professional environment. A space for queer artists and allies to increase awareness of drag culture and gender-based performances.
Our newest LGBTQ+ student network. JPride is a network of students aimed to enhance the presence, visibility, and advocacy of the intersection of LGBTQ+ and Jewish Identity. Allies are welcome.
With more than 300 student organizations on campus, you have ample opportunities to get involved. Check out our club directory. If you do not see what you are looking for and are interested in starting another LGBTQ+ club or organization on campus, follow these guidelines.
In addition, to be affiliated with the Cal Poly Pride Center, all prospective LGBTQ+ clubs and organizations must meet with the Lead Coordinator of LGBTQ+ Initiatives to discuss the goals and vision of their organization and ensure a student representative attends the Pride Center's monthly QT Leadership Council meetings.
