Our Lounge Space and Services


Most services listed here are designed to support under-represented students at Cal Poly. They focus on creating connections and community on campus.

Given the intention of these services is to create a safe-space, these gatherings are not for extra credit purposes or for class participation.

  • Lounge area with refrigerator
  • Leadership development
  • Condoms, toiletries & feminine hygiene supplies (including pregnancy test) provided in the GEC.


Cross Cultural Centers have an open library for CalPoly people! We have an extensive selection of books and audios and DVDs belong to our Gender Equity Center, MultiCultural Center and Pride Center. You may search on libib(our online website) to see available materials, and stop by the center to borrow any of these items.  Books may be checked out for 1 month and DVDs for 2 weeks.
