INTRODUCING THE LATINX CENTER

Student Diversity & Belonging is expanding its centers to include a Latinx Center as a crucial step in efforts to increase holistic support for our Latinx students.  The Latinx Center will continue to build upon that vision and be a key partner within Student Diversity & Belonging of contributing to a Cal Poly experience rooted in equity & justice.  Open to all students like other centers within SDAB, the center will feature an accessible computer lab, lounge space, and culturally relevant workshops and collaborative programming. The Latinx Center will also host Heritage month programs, including the State of Latinx each fall, as well as dialogue, panel, and speaker series throughout the year that are rooted in the diverse needs and experiences of Latinx students.  Educational experiences like these will provide everyone in the Cal Poly community opportunities to learn about the Latinx student experience.  Learn more.
